Marjolijn van Oordt is managing director and founder of Capita. Before starting Capita she worked as a marketing and branding consultant for Young & Rubicam. Marjolijn began her career as an editor and journalist for ID-TV and De Telegraaf, the largest newspaper in the Netherlands.

Marjolijn studied History and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam and followed the postgraduate degree programme in journalism at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She is a well respected publicist in leading media and has published several books and articles on news management. She is co author  to the Dutch edition of Philip Kotler's Principles of Marketing. Marjolijn gives lectures on news management  and provides media training to CEO's and politicians on issue management or crisis control on a regular basis.  She is also regularly invited to assist in programmes and roundtable conferences on gender issues and diversity. In this respect the Dutch MInistry of Social Affairs, Microsoft and The World Bank, among others, have sought her advise.

Jelmer Wolleswinkel is knowledge manager and head of information services. The past twenty years he worked as information specialist and head of the information centre at various media- and advertising agencies, including Young & Rubicam and Universsal Media. Before that Jelmer studied Commercial Economics at the Hogeschool Utrecht.

Jelmer: 'To me the beauty of tennis is the score change and the continually imminent reversal of fortune. This insures the indefiniteness of the game until the final point is scored.'

Jade Vening is senior news consultant. Before she came to Capita Jade worked as an editor for the weekly magazine Viva and wrote articles for the Algemeen Dagblad’s website Strak. Jade has a degree from the Hogeschool van Utrecht, where she studied Journalism and specialised in magazine journalism. During her studies Jade worked as a trainee for the Utrechts Nieuwsblad and for Viva.

Jade: 'Strangely, it's very soothing to worry about mixing colours, selecting the right brush and deciding whether to start painting at the bottom or top or in the centre of the canvas.'

Krijn Snuif is news consultant at Capita. Previously he was a sports journalist for the Algemeen Dagblad and covered major events such as the Olympic Games and the Grand Slam tennis tournaments. After concluding his studies at the School for Journalism in Utrecht, Krijn studied Politics at the University of Amsterdam.

Krijn: 'The one good thing about a football locker room is that inside it people are all equal. On a Sunday afternoon your CV is not important. Neither is your background. Everyone talks to everyone. Each has the same goal. Sometimes I wish the world could be like a football locker room.'

Emmy Karijopawiro is office manager and management secretary. During and after her studies at the Japanese Language and Culture Department of Leiden University she worked for various Japanese companies in the Netherlands. After more than 10 years of management support inside the Japanese business culture she thought it time to broaden her horizon.

Emmy: 'Jane Austen. Her language, humour, irony. Her books continue to fascinate no matter how often I reread them. The many and various films based on her work complete my passion for the Austen characters.'
